📋 Overview

Fictos Apps ("we", "us", or "our") built the Squeezy app as a free-to-use application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By downloading or using Squeezy, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We are committed to complying with applicable privacy laws including CalOPPA, COPPA, GDPR, and Google Play policies.

🗂️ Information We Collect

Squeezy stores all game progress data (squeeze count, XP, rank, badges, daily streak) locally on your device only using Android SharedPreferences. This data is never transmitted to our servers.

We do not directly collect any personally identifiable information (PII). However, third-party SDKs integrated in the app may collect certain data as described below:

No sensitive data such as contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location is accessed by Squeezy.

⚙️ How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

• Display relevant advertisements within the app via Google AdMob
• Ensure the app functions correctly and improve performance
• Detect and prevent fraudulent ad activity
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for any purpose other than those listed above. We do not sell your data.

💾 Game Data & Local Storage

Squeezy saves the following gameplay data locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences:

• Total squeeze count
• Experience points (XP) and rank
• Earned badges
• Daily streak and weekly activity bits
• Last active date (stored as a formatted date string)

This data is stored only on your device. It is not backed up to any server, not accessible to us, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app or clear the app's data via Android Settings.

📢 Advertising – Google AdMob

Squeezy uses Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to display banner advertisements. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your interests.

The AdMob SDK may collect and process:

• Google Advertising ID (resettable)
• Coarse location derived from IP address
• Device type, OS version, language, and time zone
• Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

• On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Via Google Ad Settings
• Via the NAI Opt-Out

🔗 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We may share non-personally identifiable, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

Data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With Google AdMob for ad delivery as described above
• When required by law, regulation, or court order
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Fictos Apps or its users

All third-party SDKs used in this app comply with Google Play's User Data policy.

🗑️ Data Retention & Deletion

All game progress data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time by:

• Uninstalling the Squeezy app
• Going to Android Settings → Apps → Squeezy → Storage → Clear Data

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete. If you have any concerns about data collected by Google AdMob, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy or contact Google directly.

👶 Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Squeezy is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at fictosapp@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents may contact us to review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's information.

🔒 Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information collected within the app. All game data is stored locally on your device using Android's standard secure storage mechanisms.

We do not transmit personal data to our own servers, which minimizes security risk. Third-party services such as Google AdMob implement their own industry-standard security practices.

In the event of a data breach involving our systems, we will notify affected users within 7 business days via in-app notification or our website.

⚖️ Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Right to access – request information about data collected about you
• Right to deletion – request deletion of your personal data
• Right to opt out – opt out of personalized advertising at any time
• Right to non-discrimination – we will not discriminate for exercising your privacy rights

📱 App Permissions

Squeezy (com.fictos.squeezy) requests only the following Android permissions:

Squeezy does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, or external storage.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
